It is actually just four 2x8s and I tried to plane the inside edges so it’s a tad under 30 inches which is the width we were going for.

So busy lately but I made time to turn the rest of the dowel plugs for the table legs.

Then I started on the epoxy. I used the Tyvec tape to hold the edges and the bottoms where the cracks went thru the wood and started filling them in.

I added a maroon metallic coloring so it would not just be clear.

Does anyone have a thought on how I could replicate this window rosette?

If you're careful you could likely do the stepped kerfs on a tablesaw then round over the section in between with a profile block and sandpaper

There's at least 60 in this house, so chiseling is not an option.

Why do you need to replicate them, if there are 60 of them?

This is one of the good ones and they need remade for this historical house update.

I would take it to a shop that specializes in CNC work, have them scan it and then reproduce what you need.

Wouldn’t be the cheapest method but they would be identical and would take a lot less time then by hand. Plus it would be actual wood since it is a historical house and guessing you want to maintain that at least in part.

I’d check historic salvage first, if that failed I would take the profile to my local mill.

The local mill has been talked to already, they quoted $300 for setup then $20 per piece. That's too expensive

Maybe time to experiment with different router bits at different angles.
