My head unit (2018 Limited) only recognizes my phone using the dash USB port every few days. It will work for a day and then not work for several days. I have tried different cables and my lighter usb adapter works fine with all the cables and my phone. Anyone having/had similar issues?

    Thanks - Erik

If it’s an iPhone cable; make sure it’s an official Apple iPhone cable. The aftermarket ones are finicky.

Both official and knock off cables. Maybe I'll buy a new official cable and see if that helps. Yeah it's an iPhone. Thanks

Mine has had the same issue with multiple Android phones since day 1. Like the wireless charger, which also sucks, I just learned to avoid using it.
