FYI-- Sylvania Zevo led bulbs from the auto parts stores are great bulbs. As are the Philips LED's from Amazon. High quality, bright.

@Garab - did you try the new domes sent with the last package sent to you? Those should work without issue.

Thr new dome works fine now that its the right size and fits. My issues were with the map lights flickering out.

Yes - they sent 2 new 194 front also with that new order - did those work. According to them you could of had a bad resistor setup in that first batch and the new ones will work. It will match the other 29mm you removed in color.

I also have a whole mess of flickering wedge bulbs. I'm up to 9 flickering 194 bulbs (a failure rate of 100%) within 6 months of installing the first one. They don't have any issues after being first installed. Most show a slight flicker (one diode) after 1-2 weeks, and then a full on/off flicker after being in service about 1 month. Stock bulbs don't have any issues. I'm really not happy about spending $110 on bulbs and having to worry about getting a fix-it ticket while driving around at night. No issues with my reverse, visors, or poorly fitting dome light.

Also, this isn't a problem unique to the Tacoma lights. I had the same issues on my GTI lights, and I rolled the dice hoping their QC had improved.

EDIT: customer service is sending replacement units at no cost. I can provide an update once I install and evaluate the replacements.

Can you email Support@deAutoLED.com with your order info and purchase date. The resistors are the issue and they fixed them and only had it go out to 2-3 customers and it was already replaced. You can also see how the LEDs look the same but act differently. Without email more info I cannot post all info here with fix and dates of purchase.

And it is NO excuse and not making it one but these are electronics and all have defect rates. You see 9 or a few having issues. But you should know there are 9 out of 90,000 diodes going out and while a very small defect rate it happened to you but a new set with new resistors will ensure it does not happen.

    Thanks

I jettisoned them and use meso's dome and map lights. Such a better quality product and much better light output. Im not surprised that DeAutoLED deleted their profile on this site with all the bad press.

I had a bad feeling from the start when they sent me multiple extra bulbs in addition to the 5 i was replacing. Clearly confident in their product.
