Line Converter/Equalizer + Speaker Wire T Harness

Everything you need to add an amp to your stock system while keeping your stock head unit, as well as getting a 7 way equalizer to fine tune your system.

I've got a Clarion EQS755 and a breakout harness for the 3rd gen Tacoma, I believe it will work on the 2nd gen as well.

The Clarion is a line converter, it will convert speaker wire to RCA low level input. It also works as an equalizer and a line driver. This will allow you to fine tune your sound and run lower gain settings on your amp.

The break out harness will allow you to run wires to the Clarion or your amp and then run return wires to the speaker plugs, without cutting your stock harnesses.

Looking to get $50 for all of it, or $25 each. Shipping extra, Im located in the Portland OR area.

 

Forgot to add, the Clarion also adds an output channel so you can add a sub as well.

For those wondering about the harness its essentially two Metra harnesses, it is soldered to 9 wire speed wire. It allows you to plug it into the speaker harness and head unit harness and then attach the other end to either a LOC or amplifier that accepts speaker wire input. Basically this allows you to plug and play an amp or LOC.

If you're adding an amp to the stock head unit you have two choices you can either build this style of harness or you can cut the stock wires, solder the speed wire to them and run that to you amplifier. This harness will save you a bunch of time. Buying the speed wire and harness will cost >$50 and you'd still have to solder the wires. So, anyone looking to add an amp to the factory headunit, this is the way to go, unless you have a bunch of time to burn and like to solder stuff, like me.
