I think for OPs application (mild lift, mostly stock parts) he'll get much more utility out of a non-adjustable UCA that uses a greasable ball joint that's sitting on the shelf at any autozone.

Icon or Total Chaos UCA's. They are the best brands on the market. You do not want to cheap out with something like a UCA.

Why are they the best brands?

I really don't think you can "cheap out" on UCAs if you wanted to. Even the cheapest brands suggested here are good to go. They are cheap because they don't use fancy expensive ball joints or billet aluminum construction. I absolutely love that the JBA uses a chevy truck ball joint that's sitting on any auto parts store shelf and will be for probably decades to come.

They're the best for some applications. I would never put a uniball UCA on a regular street driven vehicle or even one that sees street plus moderate off roading. There's a reason they aren't put on stock vehicles. OP probably doesn't need it unless he's not telling us something major about his application.

Fuck this long travel and be done....lol jk. Honestly get what you want they all work and if you don’t maintain them they all fail. But the camburg kinetic arms are just gangster! But they are also the most expensive option.

    Reading about greasing UCA's...

My first wife's ex-husband greased her Ford Courier's brake bleeder valves. He was a mechanic in the US Coast Guard... and yes, I found out there was a good reason why she's had so many ex's.

Back to the topic, I'm going with the JBA UCA's because they seem like the perfect match for my intended use of the truck. I'm ordering them right now.

Can't go wrong with JBAs, if I were to do it again I'd probably get them instead of SPCs. Not that I have anything against SPCs, but I went with them because I thought the adjustability was nice but in 3 years I've never had to adjust them outside of the normal setting. And a couple times the adjustment nut at the top of the UCA has gotten knocked loose on the trail and thrown my camber alignment way off (had to torque it back down). Not something you have to worry about with the JBAs.

Mine are re-welded. Having been working great for 1.5 years including Engineering pass on 33's, Imogene pass, and lots of fire roads. Weak welds can be fixed.
