    Hey everyone,

Decided a roof rack isn't really needed for how I use my truck. This one mounts to the inner door gutter and is very sturdy. I have all the hardware (crossbars and such) and keys for the mounting feet as well as a master key if you want to change the locks around.

I took it off the truck already but these are the best pics I have of it at the present moment and shows how it fits which is nice.

And actually this is the system one would want for running something above the cab as you do not have to drill into the roof

I'm ditching them for sure, can't use 15" wheels that are only 7" wide for 35" tires

let me know how the finish looks on them overall, if you wanna sell them or whatever, mine are in not great shape, especially where the weights were at
and i checked on brand new OEM ones and just fainted at the price of them :bananadead:

How high do the crossbars sit from the roof? Just wondering since I have a raised shell, incase I need to load something long onto it.

Any idea it’s weight limit capacity?

Looks like about 5.5" off the area the foot sits on, may be a bit less from the crown of the roof

    1116191451.jpg

Pretty much everything from Yakima maxes out at 75 to 100lbs per cross bar, I'd imagine this is maybe 200lbs static load due to clamping not necessarily the roof strength since it sits on the strongest part.

How does the aft bracket attach above the extended cab portion?

It doesn't attach, it acts as a rest and the two torque bars that run front to back along the sides make sure it stays flat and inline and that the weight is distributed evenly.

Yup, take it from me you don't want to go the drill-on route lol. Where was this deal when I was looking 3 years ago (wouldn't have mattered, at the time I was convinced a drill on rack would be great). Now I regret that decision

free bump for a nice rack
