If you're afraid of the waste, plop it in the middle of a field then go coyote hunting. That's how we always did it.

Cool thanks! Its about what I do but I use washing soda @1/4 per gallon and 30min simmer then another 15 max otherwise it starts to deteriorate the nasal bones.

The biggest thing I noticed, was NOT to use a pressure washer. Last year I blew out the nasal cavity by accident. This year I didn't use the pressure washer and was very careful.

Coincidentally, was with a buddy when he shot this earlier. We recovered it 45 minutes later. The yotes made quick work!

Seen coyotes hit an archery cow elk within 20 minutes before.

Some of the packs we hunt can strip down a mule deer in a few hours.

EDIT: I might still eat it if it was killed within an hour in a cool climate and you could cut away all of the meat that had been snacked on by the yote.

It was overnight in 30 degree weather. My brother in law said this weekend he ate a backstraps that night and felt fine. Funny part was, he never even mentioned the coyote to his wife and man was she piiiissed when she overheard the conversation!
