I am wondering what the best way to get the music from my Amazon HD music streaming on my android phone is to the tacoma head unit.

Bluetooth would be ideal because I can control the songs on the steering wheel buttons. Does anybody know if the taco supports the higher quality aptx audio codec?

If not, will the 3.5mm audio input or the USB input give a higher audio bitrate?

Purely conjecture, but I don't believe that it supports Aptx. I notice a loss in quality when switching from Aux to BT.
