Let's see, petting zoo, little kid walked behind the pony, found her screaming 20' away.. We have these little peddle cars that are airplanes, kid found the one spot that was sharp while trying to get out of it.. And, 65-70 years old Lady that should have known better than to climb up on the flight deck of our B-52 without escort, fell and busted her head open coming down the crew ladder!

The base cops write tickets at the gate to a few every Spring.

I used to de-stud them and run them through Summer; couple hours with needle nose pliers, screwdriver, and WD-40 ... another reason to like studless snow tires.

 

Now you need a couple days off to recover from thd trip.

At 11am, let's take a moment of silence to remember those that gave their lives for us.

Thanks to all that served, and continue to serve! Attendance at the museum for our Annual Open House Weekend was about 3000 visitors, several WWII vets still kicking, a lot of Korea and VietNam as well.. A bunch of much younger vets too.. The WWII vets told us some great stories about their time in our Aircraft..

Lots of great stories all around..

Remember to thank a Vet today in passing!

I think Old Mother Nature forgot November and December.

I can remember back when I was about 13 or 14 and studded tires were banned. Dad gave me a pair of pliers and an old coffee can and said , "Start pulling".
