Grey metallic SR 2.7 Tacoma manual trans

When am in 4th and the engine is holding me from going any faster. and and going down a hill sometimes it feels like am hitting sections of rumble strips but there spaced apart. Is this normal? It does it at 60 usually but has happen at lower speeds. Can some one help?

This is an issue on the 4.0l. Software update corrected the engine shudder on the 4.0l. I’m not sure if the 2.7 have had the same updates, or if it is a known issue for your motor unfortunately. Try searching 2.7 engine shudder!
