Ok so I have a 04 Tacoma with the v6. I was having an issue with accelerating hard so I changed the spark plugs, changed the oil, and put Lucas in the tank and then about 3 days later got a code for a misfire in cylinder 4 and this morning when I started my truck up(in 40 degree weather) it had an abnormal amount of smoke coming from the tail pipe. Enough smoke to make it where my truck wasn’t visible from the back. Could it have anything to do with the misfire? Or anything that I did

    WAY TOO MANY
White smoke is a sign of burning coolant. Check your radiator for low coolant which usually means a burnt head gasket. How mechanically inclined are you ? I would pressure test your coolant system
Also if head gasket you would certainly get misfire codes. We’re any of the old plugs abnormally clean ?

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
    Mileage and location?

Are you still getting the misfire code and/or experiencing a rough idle?

I would try swapping the coils 1 to 3 - opposite of the engine - to see if the misfire moves with the coil swap.

Do you have access to a compression testing gauge?
