    hey TW
I’ve done a lot of reading on here about spark plugs and which is the best option.
I feel like spark plugs are pretty much just spark plugs, no need to go crazy and spend 12$ each on lazer iridium plugs.
However something I read on TW did give me pause.. in a thread someone stated that Toyota recommends “dual tip plugs only”.
Is this true? If so, why?
As a result I picked these up a set of dual tip NGK’s for my truck.
Are these what I need for my 02’ 3.4L?
Does anyone know of a reason I shouldn’t use these?
    Thanks.

You are correct. You should use the dual electrode plugs on that engine.

My truck did not like iridium(s). Never tried duel tips. Using stock Denso’s.
