Oil changes got easier

    I think it's just the camera angle how it lines up perfectly with the asphalt on the right but the bricks on the left tells me that its an elevated step. My vote is that the deck is at least 1 step high. Now to make this post valid towards OP, yes having additional room to crawl around under the truck definitely is a huge plus, especially if you want to use a creeper. As for the Fumoto valve comment, I installed my Fumoto at 5k miles when I did the first oil change and haven't looked back. If others are having trouble with their fumoto's, I cannot speak on that as I've had zero trouble with mine.

    I don't see how 1.5 inches makes much difference when there was already plenty of room under the truck for doing oil changes.
    But I do hope you enjoy the new equipment!

    i agree to the optical illusion :)

    and i do my oil changes by rolling up one side of the truck on a curb. i better not get any fatter.

    next time use some C clamps to hold the leaf pack together, helps alot

    While I like the idea of the fumoto valve
    I did. No way I was gonna use the pin bolt to pull it together. 2 clamps worked perfectly.

    Being a reasonably fat bastid, I'd suck in the gut whilst on the creeper to sneak under the frame greasing U joints. I side right under now. :rofl::thumbsup:

    And OMG yes, it rides very nice
