E121DD73-EA74-49D1-8C76-9F9BEE44F1F6.jpg I have a 1996 Tacoma with manual doors. I found a set of power doors from another 1st gen Tacoma. I pulled the kick panel off my truck and I have an open plug under my speaker plug. Does this mean that power doors are a plug and play option for me? This picture is one I found here, mine looks the same.

Not plug n play. Although the harness is there, extensive modification is required to get it to work. You’ll need a new integration module and you’d need to do some work with the dash harness.

you would need to see if all the wires are there, if your interior fuse box supports it, and probably be disappointment when you find out its not easy.

The doors are from a 99. I noticed that there isn’t any markings on either fuse box for power windows or locks. I’m not going to grab them now. They are on Craigslist in Portland Oregon for $200 if anyone wants them.

I believe the power windows go through a fuse called power. And there’s a power relay. But I’ll have to check diagrams when I get home.

This is how my tundra was setup and it’s a similar setup

So if I had the “power” spot in the fuse box, the doors would work? Or do I still have an up hill battle with installing them?

You have to first make sure all the wires are there. Then you have to make sure the fuse box is setup for it.
