Did I damage the underside of my truck? Another off-road question

    Hi there,

I am a new truck owner so I usually come here if I am wondering if something is wrong/damaged. I recently purchased a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road Model.

I took the truck off-roading down a steep very bumpy dirt hill. The bottom of my truck did not clear a couple dirt bumps as I drove over them, and there was a mild scraping noise for a moment or two coming from the bottom of my truck until I got past that bump or until my truck rocked in another direction and lifted off the bump. Do you think the mild scraping caused any significant mechanical or cosmetic damage to the underside of my truck? These were not big rocks, just hard dirt mounds. This was a couple weeks ago, so I figured that if damage was caused, I would know it by now from my truck's performance. I wanted to ask anyway just to make sure that my truck can take a little minor contact like this on the underside, or if it was just the stock skid plate doing its job?

    Thanks!

Crawl under your truck and look? We can't see it from here...

Pics are going to more than likely tell the story.
You can slap a truck on a flat spot, that would pop your back and do no damage, or you could drag over a very sharp rock in vulnerable spot, and tear all kinds of shit up, and not even hardly hear/feel it. Boom-o-meter not very accurate.

Yeah man you def have to get under the truck and see for yourself or take hella detailed pics so we can see. If it aint leaking and making noises its probably just cosmetic
