    went for a little ride... old trail from my town to another... its about a 30 minute ride by road.. will tackle the whole thing someday, but looks like I might need my saw for downed branches/trees...

    yup, my truck is a large icicle.. good thing I got the CB antenna off last week, and fished the line through the window... that would have sucked to remove...

    It can be very nice scenery when it's your backyard and not the driveway. ;)
    Not sure who makes the step rails, they are stainless and well built, but came on the truck new. Maybe a SE Toyota option/upgrade ?
    And yes, I'm on Arfcom with same username.

    I’ve got a set of the Tyger step rails, they actually make it harder to get in the truck, at least harder for me. So I’m looking for a better solution.

    i have the cast Aluminum Running Boards. I really ended up liking them. They are extremely gripy. One of the side benefits ended up being a door stop at parking lots...hehehe
    They stick just far enough to stop a car door before it hits the truck.
