Very nice! Any more pics and details on the wiring? I’ve been trying to figure out how to run lights on the same rack.

Just received my Tacomods Aluminum Radio Knob Set in the mail today in Canada. I had been looking for something to replace the plastic knobs on the stock head unit since I picked up my 2019 TRD Sport. I read about these here on this forum and ordered them last week. I have to admit I had buyers remorse right after I saw my bill come back converted into Canadian funds. ($47.86) But after installing them today, they look and feel great. For something I look at and use every time I drive my truck, I am very happy with my purchase now.

I'm sure the product is top notch but I could not justify the cost so I come up with this idea for less than $10 Can.

Will post more this weekend. Plan to route to the bed/cab gap, and into the cab under pass seat. I'll have them on a switch.

I understand completely. Yours look good, a bit bigger and a whole bunch cheaper. Did I read you made these using 3D printer technology? For me I dislike plastic. If I can find a glass or metal alternative I do tend to go the extra mile and spend the bucks. Im replacing my front grill in the next few weeks because I don't like the plastic stock unit. I don't need too, just want too, and I am learning to research a whole bunch first. Buy right, buy once, buy wrong, lots of parts for sale ads.

Do these d-rings rotate like the stock rear rings? And what size are the torx bits? Thanks

It's a Viair block. Be warned a lot of reviews stated that the threads are not tapped correctly and was no exception. Had to chase them like a MF.

Thanks! I just wish I had a wider lens so I could center up on the truck while keeping the whole rock formation in view...

Genuine question here - no snarkiness intended:

I see a lot of people have mounts for their phones and for their iPads. What do you do with the latter? What’s the purpose of it being mounted in addition to your phones?

Actually these knobs are for a guitar amp and made of aluminum with plastic inner structure. I trimmed out the inside and glued the OEM knobs inside of them. Yes they are bigger than the stock knobs but when you need to make a manual adjustment with winter gloves on(I live in Ontario) you are able to actually grab the knob without touching the display screen. Here is a pic of the package and the finished install.

Reasonable question. For me, I am behind the times on the phone (5c) but use it mostly for GPS, weather radar and calling/texting. Whereas, the iPad, has more storage to run music software and other apps such as GAIA, which benefits greatly from viewing on a larger screen.
