Woke up this morning to a shit ton of emails. Some little shit bird from Canada hacked my nintendo account then charged over 800 of shit to my paypal from Nintendo.

It's all being disputed now, and I disconnected any of my info from nintendo. I will be selling the thing after this works out since I don't use it anyways.

WTF.

Need to set up 2 step verification, on everything....

People suck.

I had recently gone through all my accounts, add verification, updated all passwords etc....

I haven't used the nintendo in almost two years really, and didn't think about it. Turned 2 step on there and dissconected all cards saved on all my accounts etc...

Filed a thing with paypal to dispute it. Hoping for the best but I haven't had to do this before so I dunno how it will turn out. Over $700 right out of checking right before our trip to Grand Canyon and Xmas season coming up isn't very fun.


And yes, dogs didn't even want to walk more than 5 minutes this morning. We are reading 8 degrees.

 

I'm looking at similar compressors for my new garage. What did you get?

Morning all!
8 degrees at the house this morning. The ducks and goose did their usual launch out of their house to the pond, and crash-landed on the ice (there was much complaining afterwards), so I had to bust out a spot for them.

Luckily it's supposed to warm up and be sunny on Friday, so we can melt some ice.

This is EXACTLY why when we buy nintendo games I go to Amazon and buy a nintendo gift card and then get the games with the gift card...with all the free wifi being hopped on etc I don't trust that system with any financial info..
Also did you have 2 party authorization enabled for paypal? Enable it. It sends you a text message with a 6 digit code you have input to log in...I use it now for all my stuff. Too many data breaches...

 

Reminds me I need to see about getting the dog some booties...she will plow through the slush and ice but I want to protect her tootsies...

 

@TreeFortRichard I will do the 2-step on paypal now. Just did Amazon and ebay.

As far as booties, we have 5 dogs and half of them hate anything near their feet...we tried but it took forever and they kept falling off as they can be hard to size right. eventually gave up. Two dogs are short haired and have coats they both like to wear though when its cold.

Went out, did her thing, and beat me back inside.

Spent the next 10 minutes trying to get going, with 55lbs of canine trying to use me to warm up....

Thought shepard breeds were supposed to LIKE the cold....
