Sorry to be annoying, I have searched and have not found anything too conclusive for what I am looking for.

I recently purchased a 2020 TRD PRO AG, I put on some 265/75/16 AT tires and Bora 1.25" Wheel spacers, which I love the look so far. Very, Very minimal rubbing when I turn and hit a dip.

I was at the dealer dropping my Taco off for its clear-bra and noticed a stock 2020 TRD OR (not even a leveling kit) with 285/70/17s (new wheels), and Im almost positive it will rub! But I loved the look of the 285s.

    My questions are:

    A. Will 285/75/16s (stock Pro wheels) rub significantly (I know it will, just how badly?) with 1.25" wheel spacer to require a lift and/or removal of the spacers? How will gear ratios be in this scenario as well? I dont tow or even add much in my bed ever.

    B. Will 285/70/17s (with new 17" wheels/offset) and no wheel spacers rub enough to require a lift? How will gear ratios be in this scenario as well? I dont tow or even add much in my bed ever.

My goal is to obtain a wider stance, as I have now, with 285s. 285s with stock wheels still sit too far in the fenders imo.

Any and all advice is much appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the info, a "crap spacer" lift, such as a leveling kit up front? If so what size? Also what size wheel spacers? How is the truck at highway speeds?

Rather than a spacer why not a greater offset?

Truck drives like Stock, and I can't feel difference other than sitting higher up... I have the Readilift 3/1 and it does everything I need it to... but when shocks need replacing I'll take it off and lift properly lol. the spacers are 1.25" I believe... I think that's the only size that spidertrax makes... And I've taken it offroad a little but before I got bigger tires and the spacer lift did it just fine also.

In my Question "B", I mentioned that I may go 17s with a greater offset, but that doesnt answer my questions. Thanks though.

Thanks so much! I have BORA 1.25" spacers on my stock 2020 Pro wheels. My biggest concern is massive rubbing and gearing.

Not at the moment no, but when I need new tires I may go this route. Thus me having two questions A and B for different setups. I am not certain when I need new tires if I will keep stock wheels and do 285s or new wheels and 285s.
