Nice, good luck with the new commute. I just ordered some taps (should be here tomorrow), and I'm gonna try to get after it this weekend while visiting the in-laws. If can't sort it out I'll gladly hit you up for some assistance. Do you happen to remember if you cracked the dash open to get at the dash lights? Just trying to set me expectation management...

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I will dig and take some pics as well. I tapped into mine at the fuse panel on the lower left hand side of the dash.

Thanks zipp, you tapped the illumination wires into the fuse panel as well? I didn't think the dimmer would work while doing that? I hooked power and ground no problem, just trying to figure out the illumination piece.

makes sense. I will be rocking the stock intake for the foreseeable future unless I can work on a sealed system that works with the snorkel and carb status. (for now)

Does any one have the replacement bearing part numbers for the idlers on 4.0 Tacoma? I saw it somewhere and know I can’t find it lol.

For the bearing only, 5203-2NSL Nachi Double Row... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0045DWDJE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

For the pulley, FEBEST 0187-GRJ200 Idler Pulley https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HAP3W1W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I can't remember if this is #1 or#2 but there is one more. FYI if you've never done it before, it's not as easy as everyone says. Well, it is if you're N/A, but we have to remove all the SC stuff too. You WILL need to remove the fan shroud assembly to have the room to maneuver around. It's not too bad though.

Thanks! Unfortunately, two days into it indicates it's going to be worse than expected. The amount of buffonery on the roads is off the charts!

I did not crack the dash open for this.

yah was reading about that today. Almost done reading through the install guide. Seems like as you pointed out you can route a bunch of the intercooler and such in the front and setup some of the item but not actually hook up the blower.

I will need to look into mounting the intercooler pump somewhere else. Not sure it is going to fit with my winch. Def would be nice if I could get some of the install out of the way. I wont be getting to the pulleys until NST gets our GB deals sent out.

Geez what I time for me to come back on and say hi! Looks like someone is doing an engine rebuild!
No I haven’t blown mine up yet but what I do have is a 1grfe engine sitting in my shed with a cracked head gasket. This was the engine I took out and replaced with the factory TRD supercharged engine.
My thoughts are, in my spare time, is to strip down and rebuild this other engine while modifying it. Bigger pistons, cam, post and polish, what ever can be done I want to look into it. Any advise?

How hard was it to install the pulley set did you guys say? Is it super simple? I’m talking the whole set. I was looking at the group buy thread for it, I know it’s over but I’ll still spend $250 for it.....
