1st Gen Carrier Bearing Squeal

    Pioneer, bazooka rs10, kenwood / Rockford fosgate amps, Polk audio 6.5 in the doors/rear
    So much stuff in here; timely to search. Apologies if this question is answered somewhere else..
    I replaced the carrier bearing at ~108k miles due to squealing. I'm having the same issues again at 160k. It squeals terribly while coasting above 25mph.
    Is this normal wear for a 1st Gen preunner (3.4L, SR5, automatic)?

    No, that is not normal. I've had failed CBs, non where squealing. Are you sure it's not something else?

    I'm sure that it's the CB as the symptoms are the same. "squeal" may be a poor description.
