Too much wind drag with it up above. Mines flush-ish and still is howling everyday in the wind. Gonna make a fairing for a honda fit this weekend so maybe itll be quieter..

At least you dont daily drive it though! This is drivin me nuts lol. Id imagine your roof rack is super loud. Did you get that weather stripping put on the front edge of the fairing?

I got some taillight LED bulbs for free on one of the Tacoma parts pages on FB. All he wanted in return was a good review on Amazon

 

There is sooo much stuff on there that I’m afraid to trust it

 

There's a few scams in there and what not. I felt like playing around with the dude thinking it was a scam until he paypaled me $40 to order the bulbs

Have someone drive behind you during the daytime to see if they can see your taillights/brake lights.

i put some LED ones in mine and it was almost impossible to see my brake lights during the daytime. Swapped back to incandescents. Mine were sylvania zevos, so i think yours are different.

Good deal, i mustve bought the not so good ones. I just wanted them for the lifetime warranty

 

I have my incandescents in a bag inside the compartment under the seats just in case the LED bulbs go out
