How many Females are going?
My +1 might not go if it's just an all guy group


Also 2 feet of snow out in Peterborough, so bringing all of the recovery gear would be a good idea

We are less than 3 days away from the basic trail run & BBQ!

Let's go over few things:

You must purchase pass for yourself and your passenger, you can either do it in person or online. Please read pdf file below for all the information where and how much day pass costs. After we gather group together we will wonder deep in the forest, set the BBQ area and everyone can go explore forest trails. You can either download online version of the maps below or purchase coloured copy at the begging of the day when purchasing pass in person.

Alternatively you can download popular gps apps and they also have maps of the area. ​

The forest is popular among many ATV/dirt bike/horse riders. It is less likely to see horses in such weather, but nevertherless if the group encounters horse riders:

1. pull to the side
2. stop
3. shut your engine off
4. let them pass
5. continue on your adventure!

It is going to be cold, dress warm and bring with you lot's of hot drinks!
Do have front and rear tow points available, and if you have recovery gear bring it with you.
Bring camera, it's very scenic place!
Most importantly bring a positive attitude and enjoy the day!

How do we organize food?
Is this group buy still on or do we gather what everyone brings and do it all together?

 

Looks like so far, bring everything you got/willing to share. There will be BBQ setup at least by @sorgon82 and @Shveet bringing extra tea.

 

Got it. I'll have a table and my Coleman with me. Plus some water and something to boil it in. Either way, I think we're good.

 

I got the tea and sugar packed
(raspberry, mint, and the regular stuff you usually add lemon to) a few extra cups and the Coleman stove (also a pot and water to boil for the tea) and a space heater are ready to go.
Getting the sausages on Friday fresher the better

 

I'll have my stuff ready to help you out with all that. Plus will marinate sausages on friday

 

Also, those that have spare old tires for Tacoma or unwanted rims - please bring them for the meet!

Will more than 8 people have a burger? If so ill grab 2 boxes, if not ill bring 1.

Someone bring ketchup and mustard, i don't have any in the house


a kettle? no, i've not tried to run it off the inverter but me and @Snail81 both are bringing gas Coleman stoves and some pots and water to boil up for tea, coffee, hot chocolate for those wish to bring some.

I will try and bring a coffee maker....overland to the max. Have to double check if my chinesium inverter can support it.
