Have been looking for a low profile/simple phone mount for my Taco. Don't want to drill into the dash. Don't want the suction cup on the glass. Not looking for multiple mount solutions.

I tried my older phone mount that clamps onto the air vent and it doesn't hold. This also blocks the air vent.

Then, I bought this cup-holder snake thing below thinking that it would stay clear of the dash, but it keeps getting loose and toppling over. It's also squeaky. Maybe I need to put some vinyl tape around the base or the cupholder?
    https://www.amazon.com/Macally-Flex...=phone+mount+cup+holder&qid=1573840972&sr=8-4

Other suggestions are welcome. Just something removable/simple for the phone.

These are all good and much better than the cup-holder mount I got.

Any issues with the magnet on the phone case interfering with the Qi charger?

I typically take my phone case off for my pixel 3 to charge. I know some people don't have issues though. You might need to play around with where you locate the magnets before you stick them to your case though. Find the best spot to maintain wireless and then stick them to a spot with minimal impact.

Generally the further the Qi is away from contact with the actually phone the slower it will charge until its too far to even charge anymore.

The distance isn't the problem. Its a magnet stuck on your phone. Wireless charging uses oscillating magnetic fields to charge. A ferromagnetic plate on the device can end up pulling the magnetic flux from the charger into the plate itself...

Yea I had no idea, but my phone charged better on the Tacos Qi plate without the case than with the case, so there's that.

    I be an electrician...

EDIT: I wasn't referring to the distance in general. Yes, that'll cause it. I was more referring to the fact its a case + magnetic block that you have on your phone with the magnetic phone holders.

I like this. Nice and clean. How is it mounted to the dash?

I wanted the Un-holey mount, but the bundle is $139 which is too steep for me. I cheaped out and ordered the WizGear magnetic one on Amazon for $9.99.
