Yes I'm aware its not Yoda, and of the timelines of the show. However to my knowledge Yoda's species doesn't have a name hence the "yoda" in quotes.

I agree though, series looks good, the more Rogue One the better.

We bit the bullet and got it already. It’s $6.99 on it own. It’s $12.99 for the bundle with Hulu and ESPN+. In that bundle the Hulu has ads. We already have ad free Hulu but no ESPN. So I did the bundle with the same email account as my Hulu and they credit my bill. So now I pay my usual Hulu monthly price, and an additional $7 for Disney+ and now I have ESPN access. Not complaining...

I don’t have Verizon or I would’ve done the year free. We watched about 4 hours worth of Disney+ last night and ran out of things to watch unless we want to watch a movie (because they have all of them) but we just wanted to watch original shows and new stuff. They will release new episodes on Fridays and there are a lot of new series coming out on top of what they had a launch (Loki, What If?, Vision & Wanda, etc...) that will make it worth it in the long run. For $7, I’m not complaining...

I did just buy a new iPhone 11 so I got a year of Apple TV+ for free. I think that’s only $3.99/mo but from what I’ve seen so far I wouldn’t pay for it. I’ll watch the few shows they put out, but only because it’s free...for now

Ok rant over...So baby Yoda?! amirite

I managed to get Disney+ with my VZ unlimited account for $free.99 for a year and just watched the two episodes of the Mandalorian. I’m impressed with Jon Favreau’s direction and creativity.

Yeah, between him and Dave Filoni you know it should be a good show.

I know it’s just a meme but I still think Rogue One is one of the best SW movies ever and even Solo wasn’t bad, definitely better than the shit show that’s the new trilogy and episode 1-3

I have to agree with this. Though I don’t hate the prequels like everyone else does, they were the ones I grew up on really. Don’t get me started on episode 8 lol

I have enjoyed them all except 75% of episode 8. Each one has a few spots here and there that are kinda bad IMO but all are pretty good. Episode 1 being the "worst" of the worst (until 8) it still had plenty of cool stuff in it. But episode 8 only had a few bits that were cool but generally pretty meh

I totally agree that Rogue One is the best of the new stuff. Solo was good too and I think it just got a bad rap because it came out so close to episode 8. Other than episode 1 I thought the prequels were pretty good.

Marketing and timing is what made Solo a “flop” I enjoyed it. Really wish they would make a Solo 2 or a spin-off if that but it’s not gonna happen. Maybe a TV show or something but doubtful

The worst part of Solo was the actor playing him. That role takes a little something that Harrison Ford has, and is an impossible comparison to live up to.

He was screwed the moment he was cast because he wasn’t actually Harrison Ford.

Spent a couple hours at Galaxy’s Edge today in Orlando. A little let down by Smuggler’s Run. We went straight to it when the park opened and the wait shot up to 75min and never let up. Luckily my wife decided she didn’t care that much to do it so I hopped in the single rider line and rode it in under 20min. It’s overhyped. Star Tours is just as immersive and 0 wait. Still a neat experience, and it was cool to sit in the falcon!

Yeah, I think they're done with Solo or any other stand alone movie for a while. I'm glad they're doing Obi-Wan as a six episode series rather than a movie. Think it will be better.

Yeah, I had my reservation because Harrison Ford would be hard to replace as Solo. I did like the movie and I tought there were scenes where he did a good job with the character.

I dont remember the actors name that played Solo, but i thought he did a decent job, had some decent one liners but overall i dont think he had the "swagger" and personality that Han Solo needs. Harrison Ford has huge shoes to fill so i dont really think there is anyone that could've played that role and done as well as Ford.

I will say Donald Glover killed it as Lando. It also helps that’s he’s a huge StarWars nerd
