    Stock, so far.!!
    Hi,
I've had this problem since shortly after I bought the truck last January. At 50-70 the wheel was shaking. Took it in to rotate & balance. Still there. Took in again and they said the balance was way off (from their shop) so they rebalanced and shake feels the same or worse. I have aftermkt 16 wheels with non stock offset. Can that be my prob, or is it something else? Thanks.

    Is the truck lifted?

I would highly recommend taking it in to a shop that offers road force balancing along with getting an alignment check. You may need to replace the tires if there's quite a bit of mileage on them.

What size tires are you running? That avatar pic shows tire size and wheel offset that would rub on stock suspension.

The tires were new when I bought the truck in January. I’ve put 10K on them since then and they do not show any signs of irregular wear. The only that is different_not stock_about the wheel setup is the wheels themselves, as I said the offset/backspace is altered so the tires stick out more than stock would. 265/70R16 mud/snow tires not “all season” tires

The tires also rub very slightly at full lock because of the offset

    just a few things.
Are your wheels and hub same size or bigger? If rim is bigger than hub try hub rings.

Still highly recommend getting them road forced balanced, especially if they are mud terrains. I truly believe it comes down to either an out of round tire or wheel.

The"bump'' part of this is that the wheel shimmys AND now I feel it in the seat, so u-joints sound promising. I'll have them road forced and have them check all the u-joints. Thanks all.
