Went out with a couple old friends today. Not much snow, and easy trails but it was fun. I had to pull a bunch of people up a few hills. Truck did good.

Bent the upper link, bent the panhard, notched the driver side motor mount, moved the upper link over. It looks like I’ve earned myself quite a bit of room. About 4” of uptravel at the same ride height as before.

I set the bump stops conservatively for now, putting 2” to the beginning of the bump. These bumps compress nicely though.

I save lots of pictures but these went into the favorites. So badass and the rear looks awesome like that. I need to go snow wheeling.

Thanks a lot man. I’m hoping for a few good snow days this winter. The funnest days are when you barely make it out. The group has to work together and pull off some sweet recoveries and saves to get off the trail. And a good snow day never ends before midnight.. I’m lucky enough to have a few really memorable snow days in the last 10 years of wheeling. I’ll try to dig up some pics.

Yes you absolutely need to go snow wheeling. It’s hard to describe how fun it is. It can turn a smooth easy trail into a nearly impassible obstacle. Hills turns into toboggan tracks, technical stuff just gets better.

Best crowsnest day ever 2013. It had snowed maybe 18-24”. More in some spots. I’m standing in the snow below. It snowed HARD all day on is. I was plowing trail as I was the only guy on 35s(and locked). When we turned around our tracks were basically snowed over and we had to plow back out. Too many incredible details to write up. But here’s some pics.

I drove out of this one

The drive home was 2.5 hrs at 60 mph on a good day. We did 20mph almost all the way. The snow was coming down so intensely that at times I couldn’t tell where I was going at all, and we had to go like 5 mph.

Oh yeah. Second bead I blew off recently.

But beadlocks won’t happen soon. I’ll just get even faster at reseating them!

I ended up doing back down and driving off a buddy’s rig then he jumped in with me. So had to hit this again lol
