Another amber lover done on a set of Sr/sr5 lights a customer sent in  It really is a classic look. Got a retrofit too!

Do you have any idea if it's possible to go from LED DRLs on my offroad to the SR5 style? May be weird but I'd like to get rid of the LEDs, do the retrofit and BHLM.

Anything’s possible, would require some wiring modification for them to function correctly though.

It is weird, but I don't really care for the look of our LED DRLs, plus I want serviceability in case a light goes out. But, I do want function, so I will have the RX350 retrofit done, plus increased looks with the BHLM and the highbeam blackout.

For those of you who have switch back drl, halo, meso sidemarkers. Where the hell are you mounting all those drivers(6) and ballasts(2)?

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Not retarded here, just a little autism, PTSD, and maybe some Alzheimer's creeping in...

I've searched this thread and the web, and cannot find where the Profile Switchback DRL operation is described, or what wiring modifications are needed.

If one searches the web for "Profile Switchback DRL", there are several significantly different products that meet that description.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

The switchback drl’s operate just like your stock drl’s, but blink orange with your turns.

As far as wiring, i make everything plug and play minus the switchback function. You need to tap into the stock turn signal wiring for that to work.

Thanks, but I'm still confused (not that hard to do). Is the new DRL divided into 2 sections, orange and white, or does the whole thing appear as either color depending on which voltage (drl or turn) is applied?

In any event, is another connector brought out of the headlight assembly for the DRL-turn function?

For anyone waiting, meso just dropped some side markers. Make sure to order some ASAP if you want a set of lights built with them!

Message me if you want to ship them directly to me as well

I wanted some for my current set but I have his limited edition stage 3's in a set I had built that did not turn out so well. Not sure what I'm gonna do but thanks for the info. :hattip:

@MESO - what’s the failure rate on these side markers? Have you had any fail? I’m concerned about sealing something inside the headlight that may fail. Don’t want to end up like that dude in another thread that had a cracked halo giving his truck a “lazy eye” lol

I don't make the LED's them selves. They are produced by Diode Dynamics, which IMO is one of the top companies for quality lighting. It's always a gamble adding aftermarket lighting, but I think you should be good to go with these.
