I wish I could give you tips to look out for- but I haven’t installed these yet.
They are what I’m going to do as well
So, if you could post before/ after pic with before/ after heights, that would be much appreciated

good luck with everything- I know the wait is unbearable!

just make sure the 5100s are set to the lowest perch since they are not meant to be on the higher settings with lifting springs like the 885s. otherwise, this is a pretty straightforward job. Also make sure it gets aligned.

Measure from the center of your wheels vertically to the edge of your fender lip now.

Repeat after then you can advise us exactly how much lift you got.

Most everyone forgets to do the pre lift measurement.

Second the 0 perch position, preload for lift isn't great, and you got the springs to do that anyway.

Lots of folks use a 1/4" spacer/shim on top of the DS assembly to correct the Taco lean. If you have this, it's the time to fix it.

good call on the spacer. with the 885s wont be able to offset by the shock setting

Waiting on the shop now. Went over all of this w/ the shop when I left it this morning and did the pre-lift measurements yesterday afternoon. I'll measure and post pics when I pick it up and have some daylight. Will be replacing tires in the next few weeks so will have it aligned then.

    Done.
Got 2 inches up front and 2 and 1/4 in the rear. Measurements show the lean on driver’s front but you can’t see it. 99130A86-4C4F-4168-B031-952E61283B4F.jpg 8DD3A2EB-315B-41C4-BB0B-26AF43BB5BA8.jpg

There's no reason to wait on the alignment unless it's just convenient for you to do so. The hubs are what is aligned, tires and wheels have no impact on it. (Although of course the tires are ultimately impacted)

Well, if it drives ok at the moment, waiting might be good after all. Allow the springs to settle a bit. Drive a couple thousand miles and it will likely drop some.
