    I would say yes, but a lot of people run them with out issue. Really comes down to preference. You have no idea though how fox or icon or bilstein will be so, throwing money at it before you know your needs sounds silly. Go tona meet or 2 in your area and see if you test drive a couple of different trucks with different configs also. But research is key to any mod purchase

    If the truck drives reasonably well, I wouldn't worry about that. Make sure it's in good mechanical condition by taking care of the items others have mentioned above and you'll be good to go. Good looking truck, BTW. Access cabs are the best looking configuration.

    East Coast Gear Supply (EGCS) Bushing will fix it,price is not bad at all.

    I really appreciate everyone's help! I hope I have not gotten in over my head, but i wanted a project and my father in law said you cant go wrong with a Tacoma!

    If I buy the bushing, will my local mechanic know how to fix it or is that something i can do? I am a little mechanically inclined, I have changed alternators and other easier jobs like that.

    You can do it yourself,just look at all the videos of guys installing it,and go from there.Youtube has a lot of videos on the install.
