In a heartbeat. I’ve sent requeats to a few myself as well. Victory and one I hadn’t heard of before called DV8. Thought they had an interesting one because it requires zero cutting.

    https://dv8offroad.com/collections/toyota-bumpers/products/fbtt1-05

I wonder how hard it would be to weld a hitch into an existing one.

Got the fairlead plate, the rope and license plate holder installed. Had a tough time attaching the winch to the bumper. My hands are too big to fit into the space available to get the long bolts easily started. Took some time messing around with different ways to get them started. Finally, used a long pair of pliers to feed in the bolt and stand it up on its head then lowered the winch on to them. Had to tap on the two nuts to get them to fit flush enough to accept the bolt. then used tape to hold the other two in place so they wouldn’t move. took off some skin off my knuckles but got my finger tips in there to get the bolt to sit correctly then got them started enough to get a wrench on them. No problem with the rear which had plenty of room for my hands.

    Prep truck tomorrow!

Just kidding put on blackout stickers on my stock wheels. Unfortunately I tore a couple of them and ended up one sticker short. Hopefully I can get another one without paying for a full set.

Interesting use of your bed mat. Now that's thinking outside the box. Looking forward to seeing the final result. Nice job so far.:thumbsup:

Grandfather and I fab'd some extra protection onto the CBI T3 bumper we installed. Lots of fun, plus kept the factory look I like instead of trimming the truck for a full size bumper.
Also have completed the obligatory interior light switch to LEDs

AJT Design is about to offer then but there is also a thread where Meso Customs said he is going to be offering a chrome delete kit for the interior as well; I'm waiting on the latter :)

If I had access to the machinery that I used to I might give it a shot, ufortunately I no longer do. Huge employee friendly factory with every machine and machine tool you could ever want. Best job I ever had, broke my heart when they went out. Some of the most skilled people in the machine trade I have ever worked with. Stayed with them right to the end.

As far as the other slimline type bumper mfgrs go @SSOoffroad is the one that I liked the best. Not to take anything away from any of the other mfgrs. I just think they have the best product for that type of bumper by far. Nice form, fit, and welds, overall a really nice clean job.

Finally had a little time to work on the truck, Kings up front, Icon delta joint control arms, Kings out back, Icon RXT leaf springs, and Icon u-bolt flip. Also added a Brute Force Fab -3 inch bed cage and a Tepui Kukenam 3 on top. Put the Prinsu roof rack together but ran out of day light. It's headed to the tire shop tomorrow to get the tires installed on the fifteen52 Turbomac wheels and an alignment. Next week it's headed down to Brute Force Fab to have the front and rear bumpers installed.

Do you guys do the suspension upgrades yourself or do you farm it out?

Personally I did it all in my driveway, a second set of hands would have been nice, however not necessary.

Nice that you and your Grandfather got to spend some quality time together working on your Tacoma! I would have loved that opportunity.

So now that I have 265/70 tires on the stock o/r billies...

The steering wheel yanks side to side over bumps now... I'm not sure if an alignment will fix this as I'm sure less articulation probably has something to do with it...??? (Suspension components are all in good shape and tight.)

I'm scheduled to have an alignment tomorrow to try and narrow down another issue that is common, "the steering feeling floaty." Add about 100lbs and that goes away quickly. I'm not sure even after reading a hundred pages, what causes it. All in all the truck does track straight as far as alignment goes.

In other news, I added a faux pro grille from Mad Hornets (outstanding quality and packaging) for the time being until I figure out what I really want.
