I pulled the headlight surround/grille off, and I'm going for the Retro-White look. Pics when it's done...

I got the shudders at 40 mph, so I changed out the nasty WS transmission oil and filled it with Maxlife ATF. shudders all gone. 208K miles on the Odo. I also applied some Fluid film on the frame, tiny bit of surface rust.

Also Changed ATF. Not sure it's ever been completed in the past. She shifted fine but the fluid smelled like a box of crayons! I've had WS ATF in my garage two years, waiting for me. I did the line pump/ refill method. This method seems to freshen up the old ATF which is fine because it's less invasive to the AT system. Next time I'll drain the pan and fill if I ever get around to installing a cooler.

Thanks, I won’t lie I love the FJC’s as well, for some reason I never owned one but I do regret that. Hang onto it they’re destined to be a classic!
