not sure why it edited my title lmao but it’s oem Audio or taco tunes

Alright people. Looking for opinions between these two brands. I am not the best at subwoofer installs so I’m looking to do connect and play system. But my concerns are two things

-how are the sound qualities? not looking for competition style bass. But definitely looking for a nice rumble (not rattle. I will be soundproofing) as well as clarity. Basically something a little better then door speakers obviously.

-price. Both setups are pricey. Which concerns me as I can almost have Bestbuy install diff brands with install fees almost cheaper. They price match a lot of places so I can shop online and have them match and then lay install fees.

my current set up is just stock entune with kicker door speakers and tweeters. But kickers are not the best. Too much bass to wash our clarity. And then I get the distortion. But what can I say off $150 lol

I want new speakers. Sub. Amp. Box. And install if needed. I know that’s low but I know it can be done. Even if I have to piece together little by little. Getting married in 2 weeks so I can’t be spending a ton. If I have to wait I will.

let me hear your advice. Suggestions. And even set ups you have!

The Kickers probably aren't the issue, they just need more power. Even their lowest end speakers can sound good with the right power. If you have a local shop talk to them. You may just be able to install one of the new mini amp/DSPs like the Kicker KEY, plus a small powered sub.

The Key is $199 MSRP plus whatever your installer charges. But it's 45w per channel and includes a pretty kick ass auto EQ and time correction.

Does that speaker amp work well with entune screen? I also just got recommended to do that key and just swap touch a screen and it makes a huge difference and may not even need subwoofer for quite some time.

The entune system will have no clue the amp is installed. From your end it will work like factory.

I did the kicker setup tweeters speakers amp and hideaway sub with the stock entune. I got no issues with how it sounds I love it.
