And why woudn't it? I saw the Gear Daddies Saturday night, in Austin. Texas.

 

I saw the gear daddies for about 15 mins as I was in line for Tom Segura. Sounded decent from the street

 

A couple of years ago when I bought my weber kettle for $20 off craigslist, the only problem it had was that the lid had clearly been dropped once or twice and the outer rim was bent in slightly. This has always been a minor pain in the butt as it makes it tough to properly put the lid on but I've never really complained because hey, it was $20. Today everything changed when I found this bad boy on the side of the road. Luckily it was a red light so I was able to quickly jump out of my truck and throw it in the bed.

A brand new kettle lid. Minor scuffing but basically brand new. She's getting a test run with the vortex tonight.

 

Wow what are the odds of finding that!?!congrats!

 

I know right? Today was my first day back at work after vacation so you know those are always rough - this really brought me some joy.

 

Only thing better would have been a bag of money..

The amazing part to me, the poor slob before you probably dropped the lid once just right......bent..........this one blows off another poor slob's kettle and survives with no dings.
