Dude gotta fill up in Bishop, so you can make it at least to Markleeville area without needing to stop in Lee Vining or Bridgeport. Gas prices in those places are astronomical.

It's killing me too. It's technically a DV8 bumper, but bought it on ebay. Which definitely showed in the quality. Unfortunately, it is level. The gap just makes it look like garbage. The solenoid for my winch showed up damaged too, which was swell.

The 1/8-1/4" space is necessary for the flex but yes, the ebay bumper fits like shit. I still love that thread though!
