Good advice and I wish you all the best at your new place!

sometimes it’s hard to do what’s right for you, I’m happy you did, and even happier it worked out!

I've never dealt with a center channel in a car but personally I would treat it like all the other "front stage". That's how it's done with home A/V and although not everything from those 2 formats cross over, I would think that one does.

Congratulations on the move! Is it possible for you to bring some of your clients along with you? Happiness is definitely where it's at. I love the metaphor, and personally I spent way too many years trying to make my scorecard bigger before realizing how unhappy I was. Now the job is just the thing I do that helps me focus on the happiness portion of my scorecard and I'll tell you, I am so much more fulfilled overall.

Not per se, at least with the rubbish they call speakers in our trucks.

The 2G door "tweeter" is a piece of junk. Remind me to have you listen to my system before you make any purchases..probly more than you'll be looking to do but gives you an idea of what it can be

I haven't dealt with a center speaker either, but I believe my tundra has on as well. I would try and do some research and see what size speaker is in there

Car shopping does suck. I had decent luck with private owners when I was looking for my Landcruiser. But in general car shopping is a pain of you're looking for something like a 1st Gen taco. Unless it's had a frame replacement, I'd look outside of NE if you want one and drive it back.

I’m interested in just replacing my four stock speakers the 6x9 and the round ones for access doors. I will check those out

Speakers were something I wanted to upgrade on my Tacoma. Should have done it while I had the doors apart.

The speakers on my 4Runner actually sound decent. Maybe the first vehicle I've had where I'm happy with the stock setup so far.

My mother will be there so just ring the doorbell at the side door. I'll let her know you'll be stopping by.
Do you have an upgraded system (JBL etc.)? If not they are most likely the same speakers as the Tacoma's. It could be different because of the placement of the speakers or the shape of the doors etc.

I have the Navigation Entune unit, but not JBL. The speakers sound cleaner with a little more thump, at least with the front door speakers.

Great advice. At one point the financial was a ruling force for me, but personally I became a dark and dreary place. Once I realized how bad of a mental state I was in, I left and got the help I needed seeing things correctly. Now I give my time away (well basically as I work in a public school. Making about 15 bucks an hour less) and am typically happy with what I spent my day doing.
