I recall reading that you can drive it like a Manual when you want to, or even put it in 3rd gear and drive it like an Automatic if you wanted.

 

For range extension and torque multiplication and for why the hell not! Why does an electric vehicle have to be boring!

Besides all the super fun EV talk; I can't seem to find where they had the dealer just swap the AT in the OR to a MT. Then I would have the truck that would be the envy of many on this site;
On the surface it seems reasonable.

 

Well, not necessary for sure, but just think of what kind of torque multiplication is involved here. 1st gear would pull a house.

 

As stated, the only way you are getting that configuration is if you buy the AT and swap in the MT, or import a Canadian truck. Since our total population is out numbered by the state of California. We aren't high on configurations with Toyota but we seem to have some good ones.

Well except what I would have chosen, DCSB OR MT. Guess you can't win them all. My DCSB Sport MT will be a low numbers truck though, so there is that useless tidbit.
