I’ve already done my front doors. I’m going to do the Subaru tweeters up top and then the Kickers in the back doors. I’ll probably eventually redo the sub.

I’m probably showing my age but at this point outside of the crazy thump and the ability to go way up in volume without distortion the system in the Vette doesn’t sound that much better or worse than my truck and that car has components, crossovers, a 5 channel amp, etc.

I am going to bring about 30% of my patients with me but my new position is more of a supervisory and administrative role. Where before I was seeing 40-45 patients a week, I will only be able to see 8-10.

yea gladiator I have to say I like it so far. Only things are I hate the wheelbase and hope it can hit 250k like my taco (should never see taco level of abuse.) 6sp takes getting used to without a as much low end torque. Rides awesome mud terrains and sliders are in the future just waiting to see something like like that won’t bend.

Jeep forums are no comparison this one is way better.

I am a clinical psychologist. I used to work impatient from 2004-2010 but then went into a conglomerate at the end of 2010 with a number of other colleges to start something small and client focused. Unfortunately we got bought out 2 years ago and they are very much focused on numbers and data over client care.

Question for all the shade tree mechanics in the area. What would you realistically pay to “rent” a 2 post lift and bay for a day? I’m considering splurging personally but am very open to opening it up to friends at a reasonable rate if that’s something yall in the southern ma, RI area would be interested in

    This is tricky.

I would say yes, especially in the case of having to do ANYTHING on the Charger...
But, access to tools has to be a given. No way I could realistically drag all my stuff.
Which then leads to other issues as well.

Plus, setting it on the lift, etc.

Right now, I have my buddy that has a shop close by, to a good chunk of the work, so I dont have to lay in the mud.

Anyway, replacement van landed in the driveway last night. So, I am home, moving all my crap over, except, I need extra hands for one of the boxes.

Specialty tools would be on you own but i have more rachets, air tools and wrenchs than you’ll ever need sae+metric. I’ve seen a few garages do this out west for like 45-50 an hour if I kept it friends only I’d do like 30$ an hour I think. That in my head seems fair. Realistically a whole lift could be installed for a 300$ rental or tie rods and ball joints for 90$. I wouldn’t be getting rich but if I’m wrenching in the garage anyway it seems to make sense

There is (or used to be) one in either Manchester or Nashua NH that I can't seem to find now, one in CT that I just found, and another down in Warwick, RI. I'd take a look at them and work from there.

Edit: The NH space was ULift DIY Garage in Salem, but they're permanently closed.
