I'm going to get a rim/tire combo from Discount Tire Direct and they say I will need aftermarket lug nuts to go with the wheels (MB72's).

Does anyone know if this is accurate? Or is this just a cash grab? Anyone had these rims and got away with factory lug nuts?

yes, you do... You need the ET style of lugs, because your stock shank lugs will be too large to fit into the lug holes. The aftermarket ET style lugs will allow for proper thread engagement and prevent a wheel breaking your studs and going a different direction
