    Hello all! I am Erik, from New Mexico, and am currently stationed in Germany (USAF). I am a long time lurker, ever since I got the itch to get a Tacoma! I just picked up my used 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab 4x4. I've been in the off-road scene for a while (hobby). I've owned many 4x4 vehicles ranging from purpose built off-road rigs to mostly street dailies that were modified for mostly aesthetics (mall crawler in the local vernacular).

    I just sold my 2013 JKU that was a fairly budget mild build but I did take it to two off-road events, one in France and one in Belgium.

    I am building my Tacoma for light off-road use, but it will primarily be my DD and will be used for light towing/dirt bike transportation.

    I'd like to preface, I've owned everything from high dollar bolt on suspension kits (and custom built) to low dollar spacer lifts. I am a huge fan of Rough Country and think they offer a great bang for buck value. That being said, most of my suspension systems end up being Frankensteined for my specific use and lowest cost. I am a firm believer in building for your own intended use, and not in over building. I believe it is a huge waste of money. Let the roasts begin Be prepared though, I've been doing this a while.

    Also, I am not one to judge, and I respect all auto enthusiast genres and preferences, I just won't take part in some of it myself (at least if it's not my fancy. I.e. mini trucks) lol

    It takes all types of people to make the world go round! Happy to be here and look forward to being a part of the community.
