    then i wouldnt do a 12" sub.

    i would do a 10" or even 2 10's.

with a 10" sub you are going to get A LOT more tighter, cleaner sound than you will with a 12.

10 = perfect for songs with quick tight bass
12 = perfect for songs with long loud drawn out bass

most everything under 15" is gonna be 4 ohm.

its no until you hit 15-18" is when you really look at 2 ohm.

    (most of the time.)

every 10/12 ive seen in a truck is 4 ohm. including mine

    Kicker CVT 10

Ive heard all of them (minus the kicker CVT 10) and i would go with the alpine type e. really strong sub

are you gonna amp your speakers?

if so, do an alpine mrp-f300 (four channel for speakers) then i would do an Alpine MRP-M500 for the sub

What sub enclosure are you going with in your access cab? I'm kinda in the same boat as you.

I dont know right now i thought about making one but it is pretty difficult getting the right air requirements for the subs. i think thinking about just doing one 10'' sub. Some people say that one sub is just as good as two. What do yall think should i go with two or just one. i can find alot of different sub enclosures for one that fit good but a sub enclosure for two is hard to find and it wont fit in the back as well.

I'm just looking for a single 10in enclosure, but I'm super picky. I have to have something that looks as stock as possible. I don't really want a big box sitting out in the open but there aren't many other options.

The first one looks pretty good. The third one looks okay but is only for an 8. Maybe it can be modified? The second one looks crappy to me. Which one are you leaning towards?

I was leaning toward the first one but i dont know about the down fire design. i figured that would hurt on sound quality
