No surprise. If you've got somebody ready spend $35,000 to $45,000 on a new vehicle, they don't want see or hear about it.

The white is the worst Toyota paint! And radiant red. They’re single stage. Ultimately if you keep up on washing paint will hold up a while. But 90% of people don’t wash under a truck

The 3rd gens main problem (along with all the Toyotas honestly) is they’re overpriced.

I think a big factor with some of this is many of them are new owners who have never owned a truck before. They see all these pumped expo rigs and want to join in. Find TW and then start seeing "issues" when they just need to become familiar with their trucks. A little experience over time...

    Agree.

:notsure: I hardly ever washed my truck. Then I found TW and of course began to give it some much deserved attention

Still need to be more consistent with cleaning. All this nasty air quality we've had here lately, seriously covered in a layer of dust right now. Might have something to do with it sitting in the garage for a month+ but...

I agree @cruiserguy is A1 by me, it's the snitch threatening to report and actually reporting members trying to get people who ignore his babble banned.

I'm surprised my 04 radiant red is in such good shape. Toyota red isn't exactly known for its longevity. Came from Arizona (probably garaged though with the low miles) and I've had it un-garaged in the socal sun for the last 3.5 years. Paint still looks great if you ignore all the 100s of pin stripes lol

    NO WITCH HUNTING!

SERIOUSLY, KNOCK IT THE FUCK OFF OR I'LL REQUEST THE THREAD IS LOCKED.

By the way, the lock dancing emoji is an alert to the mods, treat it like pinging one of them. If you don't want mod attention, dont do obvious things that attract them, reporting, pinging, certain key words.... Common sense, just use some for fucks sake.

Perhaps there is the difference. Mine has been garaged off an on for many years now. Rare that I leave it outside.

SOCAL Sun... o_O, only good for one thing

Toyota reds always turn chalky if left uncared for. My cruiser was like that before the respsay

There is a 90s 4Runner down the street. Parked outside constantly and hardly cared for. Red. Walk by and a finger swipe will leave your finger red. Horrible.

Yeah I've been trying to stave that off by washing/waxing it regularly

Oh oops a while back I put the lock emoji up, I didn't realize it actually served an administrative type of purpose to call a moderator. Different. I won't use that again.
I think we're the best self regulating part of the forum there is

I think we are too, when you look at some of the other BS threads on here *cough Arizona cough*. But by and large minus a few people that have come and gone, we do a pretty good job of staying in between the lines. Like I said earlier though, it is easy to get carried away in BS threads sometimes. Just gotta keep it in mind and don't let it get out of hand or do things that will for sure bring consequences
