I have a reg cab base model 2008 and it's looking like I need to fuel tank straps before it falls off on me. What straps do I need to be able to run a fuel tank skid plate? I don't don't have a skid plate in mind yet, that's next year. I just want to make sure I get the right ones for when I do get one.

I know my OR tank straps has studs on the bottom of them for that. I would imagine the straps for the OR model for your year would work.

I bought RCI’s genuine Toyota fuel tank straps. Because I wanted piece of mind. Guaranteed fit. They also come insulated. Both are also different. Front and rear. The fuel tank is composite. And bulges out when full. I had to lift the tank slightly to put on the straps. Guaranteed fitment. Buy once, cry once.
