Tesla Cybertruck just revealed...$39,900!!!

I was going to mention the same thing. If those specs were at the 40k price point, i'd have mine reserved regardless.

 

There's been a few Tesla cars running low 9's at Rocky Mtn drag week and Hot Rod drag week this year

 

We have to get the 2jz swap 1st gen Tacoma's to take these things out ,

Wonder if this new Tesla Truck has the "Ludicrous" perf mode which is available in the Model X Tesla

 

On paper it's great.

What the hell were they thinking with the design though...?

• Similar to the SR5, no gas tank skid.
• 220 outlet to plug in your house during a power outage.
• No more cooking with gas while camping.
• Similar lines to the Pontiac Aztec.
• Can't wait to see the truck camper.
• Best tailgate ever.
• Pneumatic tool ready.
• You gotta download the app.

 

I am really worried about Tesla, how can they make a truck with specs like that and charge $40k for it. Damn. Seriously, it would be more pertinent to list the reasons not to buy it (besides the design). The thing is bloody awesome.

As for the design, when this truck actually comes out in two years I bet it will be way less polarizing by then. Look at the model S, it is still one of the best looking vehicles on the road, and they have barely touched the design since they first introduced it. This truck design is clearly for the long haul.

 

The 500 mile range version comes in at 60k.

it’s an elon/nerd joke, you guys. a bizarre marketing stunt... i’d say the tech, the underpinnings, the specs are probably real. but this is not tesla's truck.

That thing is hideous. But I’m sure it’ll be a Californian dream truck. Although I’m not so sure the 9mm bullet proof feature will be a selling point for them.

I’d like to test that out though. Not only ripping it down a drag strip but also shooting at it

Thinking that in 20 years, EV will dominate everywhere but in the third world.

Props to Elon Musk for bringing something different to the public.

The Rivian design is sleek, the Bollinger looks utilitarian and the Tesla truck looks like an F-117 imo.

 

The sight lines out of that thing must be horrible. There are going to be a lot of parking lot altercations at Starbucks all throughout California.

 

For the international market. Appears to be a must have for parts of Mexico.
