Has anyone installed the Alpine ILX-309 FRN Halo9 receiver in the 2nd Gen?
    How difficult was the install?
What features were you able to retain (Steering Wheel, factory Mic, etc)?
Can you add a front camera in addition to the rear camera?
I’d like switch out my factory head unit for one with Apple CarPlay. Besides, this Alpine head unit looks amazing.
    I appreciate your input

    Yes it will fit.
You will need a Maestro iDatalink SW if you want steering wheel controls only or a Maestro iDatalink RR if you also want to tap into the OBDII port and beable to grab sensor data from the ECU.
I think you can add more than one camera if you buy an Alpine accessory module but I am not sure which one.

Im thinking of going with this unit soon.

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this as well, but waiting on a possible Black Friday sale...
