Yeah, it's definitely growing on me. Getting a real BladeRunner vibe from it.

Is it ugly? Yeah, but it's almost so ugly that it becomes interesting again. It's such a departure from what we're used to in the looks department that I imagine it'll grow on a lot of people given time. I personally can't wait to see what people do to these and with them. I don't think I'd buy one for the sole purpose of wheeling, but if I was looking for a truck for general truck stuff I'd definitely consider it. Although I bet this thing would be a blast at the dunes or in the desert.

It’s a stealth fighter jet on wheels. I liked the jabs at the Ford F-150 during the presentation.

I have to give credit to Tesla for keeping this one under wraps. No specs or photo leaks that I know of. Everyone in the know must have signed a non-disclosure agreement with an immediate termination clause if anything leaked to the press.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's not even futuristic, it's the past's futuristic. It's like what we thought the 2000s would be like in the 1970s. The one they showed in the video looked like a stage prop, you could see things were only sheet metal and no structure. Makes me think we will see the real one a bit later on and it won't be this.

For me a few things, the low pricepoint is nice but that is only for 1-motor RWD. The 2 motor AWD is reasonable and the 3 motor AWD is the one with the crazy 0-60 numbers, but it's also 70k. So the reality is the 40k truck would not even be something I could consider, so now we are talking 50k for the lower end AWD model. At that point, I probably would not buy one over a nice Tacoma (with money in my pocket). That being said, the truck brings a lot to the table and should be a game-changer. It honestly is the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen though. To me it looks like something that Hollywood would design in 1985 to be what the truck of 2000 were to look like lol. 1 of the concepts I saw before the unveiling, was awesome looking. I was a bit disappointed when this is what they rolled out. Oh well, it'll be cool to see how they do, once they are out.

Retro-futuristic. Its 100% inspired by Blade Runner, Total Recall and a Delorian via Back to the Future. I'm willing to bet that Elon is a huge fan of late 70's early 80's sci-fi.

Very possible. I kinda get it but still just not my style. The exoskeleton idea is pretty sweet though.

I mean you're not alone, but this thing is going to sell based on it's weirdness alone.

This thing would probably be the most practical car in the whole Mad Max universe. Gas is rare, LETS BUILD A MONSTER TRUCK!

This design isn’t going to age well. Same with the Model X and 3, they’re just not that good looking. Maybe Tesla used up all their decent design lines with the S.

Tesla is the least reliable vehicle manufacturer. My neighbor has has a Tesla 3 that breaks often. When it broke last, he had to have it taken by car carrier to another city for Tesla to repair. They gave him a loaner, but getting to that city (it is 100 miles away) was on his dime, so was the car carrier. Nearest Toyota dealership to the house, 1.1 miles.
