I don’t want to get off topic but that really isn’t accurate. The model S and 3 both got average reliability rankings by Consumer Reports, which is better than the F-150, Ram, and Silverado got. It is also the same rating that the Tacoma received. Now if you said the model X was one of the least reliable cars, I’d agree with you because data supports that. Tesla is still a very young brand with only 3 models, but they aren’t the least reliable manufacturer.

those numbers are for the $70k model with all the bells and whistles. RWD 6 second 0-60 for the $40k one

EDIT: whoops late to the party on that one

I think it looks cool and has some cool functions like that tailgate that turns into a loading ramp. But I don't like the high sides on the bed. Makes getting stuff into the bed super hard. I wonder if they will offer a truck nuts option?

But crawling with that amount of torque and the low center of gravity. Could be pretty cool.

Yeah, that's why I said starting price. I assume most people are familiar with their pricing structure, but then again, teslas are like honda civics where I'm at by how many people have them.

So, what's the best truck gun for one of these? A bullpup or a folder like the Sub2k?

or do we go with 80s classics like a Mac?

    ...

Also, it's time to queue up all the synthwave mixes.

It anything it's competition one way or another to potential improve options. I am all for a hybrid with technology coming out now. All I really want from my Tacoma is a bit more torque and if they slap the newly announced Rav4 power train (just over 300HP) it would be nice improvement. Here's to Gen4!

Yeah, the third gen forum is a unique place for sure.

If this thread doesn't go as planned, you can always try something relating to rear drum brakes, consumer reports articles or Tacoma diesel or V8 rumors.

Just kidding by the way. The mods deserve their free time.
