Could someone tell me the safest way to remove the gauge needles? I have removed the gauge pod before but not the needles.

Has anyone painted them red or flouresent red with good results? I can't stand the way mine look salmon pink at night!

PS I did a search but didn't find details.

That will be an expensive lesson if you break them.

Paint them while still attached, just use a small modelers brush, that's what I did on my 84 Ford..

Send the whole cluster to the LED guy and he’ll swap the LED color and paint the needles.

that would be @Jerez . He'd be a safe bet to use. He did my radio when a local specialty auto electronic shop said they couldn't do it. Those needles aren't fun to work with. The stepper motors are a p.i.t.a to get right again if you mess them up.

They look salmon red? Really?....I’ve never seen it like that...normally they look like a cherry red tbh
Because the needles themswlves are painted orange but the leds in the dash are red :notsure:
    You could try painting them
I use hobby shop spray paint once I remove the paint very carefully with ail polish remover (not that strong stuff lighter stuff)

    Glad I’m colorblind...

Half the time I don’t know or care what color anything is:D

It relieves me of such concerns..
