Who didn’t clean up water on a tile floor? Since you say tile I’m assuming it’s inside.

The person who spilled or didn’t do their duty to clean water is at fault.

Lol, Where I worked they actually had a 5 whys form I had to fill out every time. Why was the water on the floor, then ask why 4 more times. They said there is no such thing as an accident, just an event that someone caused.

 

Maybe the water dripped off their towel without them knowing.

and don’t go blaming the towel maker.

the victim of the slip didn’t do it on purpose therefore it was an accident on their part. Maybe not on somebody else’s but it was on theirs.

 

Time and money man. Just haven’t been able to devote either to it.

Then it was caused by the person being careless by not paying attention. They caused it to happen, not an accident. Just because it was not on purpose doesn't mean it is an accident.

exactly. If I cut someone’s brake lines and they’re in an “accident” was it an accident or someone else’s fault

 

for the trucks intended purpose it’s not bad. It can tow, haul in bed, go down about any roads any other stock truck can go.

It’s a prototype anyways. No telling how much it may change.

Not really my way of thinking, It is part of the Toyota way, lol. It is one of the many ways companies teach to do business. I have had to follow the Home Depot way, The Toyota Way, Just In Time and a few others. I never agreed with it but it will make you think. If you ask the 5 whys it will usually lead to someone doing something they should not have done. Looking at it from a company's point of view it is actual pretty smart. Do you say oh well it was an accident so that means it is the company's fault or investigate to find fault in the employee so you can fight it in court.

 

I have to work today too.
