So, my question is 2 part. #1, I want to upgrade to a dual-purpose battery. Probably an X2 Power, but I hear lots of concern about the Group31 due to the extra weight. Is there a viable alternative? Or a solution?

My other question, is I am looking at a refrigerator, an Alpicool, dual temp, 60L. Amazon listing shows average power consumption as 60w. If I have half a clue, which I don't, that translates to about 5A, which translates to 16 hours on the 100ah Group 31? Does that seem right? Does that power consumption seem high? They have another unit, that is 55L, without the dual zone, that is rated at 45w.

    60w does translate to 5A with 12V. Don't know how 5A translates to 16 h.
100AH at 5A draw will give you 20 theoretical hours (100AH/5A=20H)

Oops...15-16 hrs was my calculation for the stock size (24F) battery. So I've always heard not to bring an AGM below 50%. Does that mean I'll only get 10 hours on that battery? I've always heard these fridges will run for days on an X2 or Northstar battery....
